West African carryout left on sidewalk

He was at the Bintou African & American Restaurant — known as a place to get the best West African food in Philadelphia, and nicknamed the BI Restaurant by locals.

He walked into the southwest Philly restaurant with another man who had just gotten a carryout meal.

The 18-year-old got into a fight with a father and son in the restaurant and was shot and killed on the evening of May 9, 2018. He was one of nine shooting victims over an 18-hour period in Philadelphia.
