He was described as a “beautiful soul” who “always knew how to make the day brighter.”

Ivan Garcia, 17, was shot and killed alongside his 29-year-old brother on June 30, 2018, at Rick’s Motel in Downey, California, following an argument with another 29-year-old man. Neither brother was armed. After a standoff with police, the man was arrested and charged with their murders.
