Regan Nicole Pfaff

Age 16

Conroe, Texas

She had been taking a selfie

She admitted to not really using Twitter, but she did share a puppy-faced selfie on her 14th birthday. Before the photo, she retweeted a cryptic message about the futility of life.

Her uncle James described her as a stellar student who excelled during her time at Montgomery High School, which she attended while living with her grandfather. Her father had moved to Alaska, and sought financial help in July to return to Texas for her funeral.

Regan Nicole Pfaff, 16, died from being accidentally shot in the head on July 24, 2018 while taking selfies in an apartment complex in Conroe, Texas.
