Francisco Puentes

Age 17

Bakersfield, California

Mom never received the happy news

There was nothing he loved more than his lowrider family. His mother said that they were the ones who “motivated him and made him want to conquer the world.” He was eager to share his passion for cars with them.

Known fondly as Porky, he was a straight-A student athlete at Foothill High School. He was walking home from school after having just learned that he would be graduating early, but he never got the chance to tell his family the good news.

On April 23, 2018, Francisco Puentes, 17, was shot multiple times after school in Bakersfield, California.
