Kaileigh Lin Collier

Age 17

Columbia, Tennessee

Was “more beautiful than she knew”

She was a brilliant student who held herself to the highest standard in everything she did. Also a gifted musician, she loved classic country and enjoyed playing the banjo and the mandolin. She was growing into an accomplished guitar player. She was one of four adopted and homeschooled children in a “quiet” and “loving” home.

She “was a wise young woman of deep thought and astounding biblical knowledge,” her family wrote in an online testimonial. “She was more beautiful than she knew.”

Sixteen-year-old Kaileigh Lin Collier and her three siblings were shot in a murder-suicide by their mother at home in Columbia, Tennessee, on Oct. 15, 2018.
