Malik wanted to be a dentist

He always had a smile on his face. He was an honor student. His birthday was four months away.

He was a football and track and field team member at Tattnall High School. His dream was to continue his education at Augusta University and study dentistry. He was admired by his classmates – they called him “Sonic.”

On August 7, 2018, Malik Sayeed Murphy, 18, was found dead by authorities inside his home in Glennville, Georgia, at around 2:30 a.m. after suffering a gunshot wound. Murphy was a victim of a triple shooting.
