London Kay Simmons

Age 2

Saint Joseph, Missouri

Little swimmer loved ”My Little Pony”

She was a loving sister and daughter. She liked swimming and dressing up in “My Little Pony” pajamas.

Often called “Little Miss Simmons,” she was a beacon of light to her loved ones. Instead of playing with her toys, she found a loaded handgun at home. When the police arrived, they found her uncle carrying her limp body in his arms. After her death, family and friends lit 1,123 candles in her memory.

Two-year-old London Kay Simmons died June 12, 2018 in St. Joseph, Missouri, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.
