Kayleen Lor

Age 5

Stockton, California

She just wanted to help people

She was vivacious, fearless, smart, and emotionally intelligent. “She was so curious and loved life,” and especially enjoyed having “adult” conversations about anything and everything, her aunt said.

Right before her fifth birthday, she decided that she wanted to be a police officer so that she could protect people. According to her aunt, “she wanted to grow up so fast.”

Just after 10 p.m. on May 13, 2018, Kayleen Lor, 5, was shot and killed, along with her parents, at a home in Stockton, California. The case is still unsolved.
