National Honor Society dreamer never inducted

He was always smiling. He attended Saturday school every weekend to improve his grades. His passion to further his education was what he became known for.

His eyes were set on being inducted into his school’s National Honor Society. “If he got a B, he wanted to know what can he do to get an A,” his teacher reminisced. “That’s the student we know.”

Kimson Lee Green, 17, a sophomore at Miami Northwestern Senior High School, was shot and killed in front of his apartment building in the Liberty City neighborhood of Miami on Sunday, April 8, 2018. His National Honor Society induction was set for the following month.
