Karter Ray McCutchen

Age 3

Logansport, Indiana

His babysitter heard a loud gunshot

He was a toddler, and he loved to play. His babysitter took good care of him.

His father was helping a homeowner with flooring, and left him to get some supplies. That was the last time he saw his little boy alive. “It’s a shame. I can’t imagine what they’re going through,” neighbor Jef Fissel told WTHR.

On Oct. 25, 2018 at around 11:30 a.m., Karter Ray McCutchen, 3, accidentally shot himself at a home in Logansport, Indiana, while playing with a gun. He was airlifted to Riley Hospital for Children, where he passed away.
