Ka’Maya Lloyd

Age 1

Moorhead, Mississippi

Sweet baby girl with wide smile

Her life was foam play mats and baby dolls. She wore little dresses with matching bows.

Her mom, Kimberly, called her “sweet baby girl.” Her father, Lavonta Lloyd, had visitation rights to see her. But Kimberly filed a domestic violence petition after Lloyd kidnapped the baby from daycare on Monday, July 2, 2018. He tried again that Tuesday.

On Thursday, July 5, Ka’Maya Lloyd, 1, was kidnapped again by her father from her mother’s house in Cruger, Mississippi. Holmes County sheriff’s deputies chased Lloyd until he ran his truck into a ditch. They died there: He shot Kamaya, then himself.
