He was dressed as an orange-and-white bear, the hood hiding his messy mop of jet black hair. In another photo, a too-big hat sat atop his head. In another, he stares somberly at the camera while strapped into his carseat.
He was the youngest infant to attend his first daycare, adored by parents who squeezed his cheeks, and children who looked for him even after he switched daycares.
Julien Gonzalez, 2, died in Chicago on Oct. 6, 2018, from a gunshot, allegedly ordered by a gang member during a birthday party.
