Honor student stayed out of trouble

An honor roll student, she stayed out of trouble. The last time she spoke with her uncle, she was excited about her upcoming birthday.

"If you had a daughter, that's the kind of daughter you wanted," said Johnny Craig, her father.

On June 9, 2018, someone in a car opened fire on Jordyne Craig, 15, and her boyfriend while they were walking on South 15th Street in West Memphis, Arkansas. Shot in the arm, her boyfriend survived. Jordyne died at the scene. The Child Advocacy Center of Eastern Arkansas and the West Memphis Police Department flew a flag in her honor.
