The 3-year-old can be seen in a video, dancing and holding a cellphone. In another, he repeated his father’s words, saying “What’s up?” and his own name.
When his stepmother got the call, she was shocked and in disbelief. “It don’t make sense, it really don’t make sense to me,” she said. “I don’t really understand how or why someone would do that.”
Ja’Ceiden Roberts was found dead in a stolen pickup truck parked in the driveway of a vacant house in Columbus, Georgia, on Nov. 27, 2018. His father was also shot and killed.
