Black and pink shoes, a doll and an inflatable kiddie pool were in the yard of an emerald green house in Whispering Pines, California. They belonged to a little girl who celebrated her third birthday not too long ago.
She was visiting her grandfather for a while in Lake County with her parents. Although divorced, her father and mother lived together to take care of her.
One day, her grandfather came home to find that his house was eerily silent. Hannah Love Chote was shot dead by her father on the evening of July 24, 2018.
