Damia Lee-Ann Barnett

Age 3

Mount Healthy, Ohio

Minnie Mouse and cheese puffs lover

Just 3 years old, she had a personality that could light up any room she walked into. Her presence emanated positivity. Along with her mother, father, twin brother and three sisters, she loved attending church, “Her Hallelujah Place.”

You could always catch her dancing and watching Minnie Mouse while eating her favorite snack, cheese puffs. Her nickname was “Fatter.”

On Oct. 5, 2018, Damia Lee-Ann Barnett “got her hands on” a legally owned firearm hanging in a holster in a bedroom of her family’s apartment in Mount Healthy, Ohio. She shot herself in the head and died instantly.
