New home, without daughter and father
Her family moved into a new apartment in LaPlace just two weeks before it happened. To a 4-year-old, it may not have seemed much different than her previous home in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Her mother, father and sister had just celebrated her birthday. They went out to dinner, then headed home. Her grandmother, Angela Walker, said the girls “loved their daddy, and their daddy loved them.”
Cali Mack, 4, and her father, Cameron, were shot and killed on May 29, 2018, on the balcony of their apartment.
