Bryan Alvarado-Esquivel

Age 17

Bladensburg, Maryland

Good student at the wrong place

He went to Varnum Park wearing his Gucci belt and silver watch with a chain around his neck.

The park is a popular spot for high school students, especially for those at Bladensburg High School, which he attended. He was a good student, according to his dad, who also described him as a nice teenager.

On Monday, June 18, Bryan Alvarado-Esquivel, 17, was approached at Varnum Park around 2 p.m. by a man who announced he was going to rob someone. He chose Bryan as his target and shot him in the head. Bryan was robbed of his belt, his watch, his chain, and his life.
