He could have been a daddy’s boy. He may have felt safe around his father and felt comfortable in his arms.
He may have heard the wheels of his hospital bed slam against the floor as the nurses rushed him to the operating room when he was transported to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. The bright hospital lights may have engulfed him as he took his final breaths.
Angel Hernandez, 3, was accidentally shot and killed on Sept. 30, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee, while sitting on the porch steps of his home with his father, whose gun went off and struck him with a deadly bullet.
