Tayla Mone Auzenne

Age 18

Houston, Texas

Future student. Future doctor. Future gone.

She had plans and goals. Her dream was to become a sports medicine doctor, and she was preparing to attend Blinn Junior College in the spring to pursue her career.

“She meant the world to me, my one and only, the love of my life,” her father wrote on her GoFundMe page. The former Hightower High School student was a “very loving soul; she loved her family and her friends.”

Tayla Mone Auzenne, 18, of Houston, Texas, was shot in the chest by her boyfriend during an argument on the afternoon of Oct. 12, 2018.
