Thanksgiving favorites: baked mac and ham

The first few months at York College of Pennsylvania reminded him how much he loved his family. In a handwritten letter home, he wrote in blue ink how proud he was of his sister’s grades and asked if she was taking care of their mom while he was away.

He liked listening to Meek Mill and watching NBA games. Friends swapped his last name with “Driver” because he was driven to succeed. Thanksgiving tradition for him was to eat all of the baked mac and ham.

Steven J. “Vetogang Steve” Scott, 18, was shot in York, Pennsylvania, early Friday morning on Nov. 16, 2018.
