Her community was “a small taste of heaven,” where neighbors were trusting and always willing to lend a helping hand.
She graduated from high school with honors and planned to attend the University of Pittsburgh. Working at Bent Mountain Bistro, she became friends with two coworkers, who were roommates, along with a homeless teenager they had invited to live with them.
Miranda Beth Trump, 18, was shot to death with her two friends in Bent Mountain, Virginia, by the homeless teen on June 12, 2018. Her abandoned car was found by the gravel road leading to their home.
