Highway to hopes and dreams, destroyed

She was a senior set to graduate with honors from Laurel High School. Her father says she dreamed of becoming a doctor.

She liked the clothing site Fashion Nova. And she enjoyed posting fashionable pictures of herself, and with those she cared about, like her best friend and sister Precious May.

Addie May Brenaee, 18, was killed May 19, 2018 during a drive-by shooting on Highway 11 north of Heidelberg, Mississippi. She was sitting in the back seat of the car and was the only one out of three victims who died. She would have walked across the graduation stage in three days.
