Each day, hello was his priority
His cap and gown from Rogers High School were red and his afro was as wide as his smile. He graduated in May and played five sports, including wrestling and basketball. A loving brother, he had a large family including two siblings.
He made it a priority to visit the school office every day and say hello to staff. The person who found him remembered how he “often waved and was polite” while in the neighborhood.
Tyler Leslie Evans, 18, was shot at 6:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Glenwood Avenue in Toledo, Ohio on Sept. 4, 2018.
