Trinity Renee-Jordan Wiggins

Age 12

California City, California

Her uncle’s house, pockmarked with bullets

She was a niece to a loving uncle, a brown-eyed cheerleader who had her hair in cornrows that complimented her huge smile.

To her family, she was a light in dark situations, someone who could make anyone laugh. At 12 years old, she was already a familiar face within her community of California City, California. “Our children go to the same school,” police chief Eric Hurtado observed. A “fun child who had plenty of potential,” a neighbor said.

Trinity Renee-Jordan Wiggins and her uncle were killed in a drive-by shooting at their home on July 22, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.
