He was writing his own narrative. The son of a local rapper known as Da'Unda'Dogg, he had a passion for music and was pursuing his own career in the industry. His rap name was TreDurk.

He had just graduated from John W. Finney High School in Vallejo, California. Along with his music career he had a dream to go to college. He was leaving a live dance and music venue in nearby downtown Oakland when it happened.

Trevion Deonte Reddick, 17, was shot on June 30, 2018. The 18-year-old man shot alongside him survived. He did not.
