Montrell Anthony Mouzon

Age 13

Baltimore, Maryland

His dream of witnessing motocross shattered

A comedian like his mother, he was the life of the party at the public school he attended, in band where he played the trombone, at karate and at wrestling.

He saw himself as the defender of his seven siblings, who all looked up to him. He had a way with smaller children. He loved wheels and speed, hoping to one day see motocross live.

The Deliverer of all Unnecessary Announcements. Mr. Debater. Master Manipulator. Big Baby. Mr. Protector. All nicknames he would never hear again. Montrell Anthony Mouzon, 13, was fatally shot on Oct. 31, 2018 in the Lakelands neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland.
