They called him "Thomas the Barber"

He was “Thomas the Barber,” a young man who changed his mind about majoring in criminal justice to perfecting the art of cutting hair. His Instagram shows precise shaves and neat trims. “This is my only way out,” he posted on a video showing a satisfied customer.

He played baseball and was 2016 mentee of the year for Men Empower Nations, a Christian youth organization.

On Nov. 20, 2018, Thomas Luis Reyes, 18, was shot in Camden, New Jersey. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
