Terry Wilson

Age 16

Chicago, Illinois

He’s an alumnus without a diploma

He was a few years away from getting a driver's license and earning his high school diploma.

He enjoyed reading, but now people can only read about him. He will never joke or play sports again. He will never walk in Youth Connection Charter School’s graduation ceremony. The Chicago police headquarters two blocks away wasn’t close enough.

Terry Wilson, 16, died on Sept. 26, 2018 near a train station in Chicago, Illinois, after he was shot in the abdomen, chest and face.
