Chicagoland loses another young dream chaser

He was nicknamed “TaeMoe.” He wore jersey number 4 for the Thornton Township High School varsity football team. He was 15 days from his 18th birthday and planned to get tested to donate a kidney to his father.

A social media feud between him and several others resulted in a confrontation at a convenience store.

Taijean Hall, 17, was shot dead at the Express Drive Thru Food Mart in Harvey, Illinois around 10:30 p.m on Aug. 14, 2018. "This is like a wild spreading virus, gun violence," the chief of police said. “In due time, it’ll hit your doorstep if you don’t step up."
