Shelby Louise Hunn

Age 13

Zionsville, Indiana

More than just a tennis star

Her friend loved making funny videos with her in Spanish class. “There was not a day I would not see her laughing,” she told The Indianapolis Star.

She brought joy to the tennis team, making her teammates laugh even when she beat them on the court. She often said prayers for her friends and attended Bible study, and was known for her deep compassion for others.

Shelby Louise Hunn, 13, along with her brother Harrison Hunn, was shot in her sleep by her father on Sept. 21, 2018, in Zionsville, Indiana. Friends have vowed to remember her joy with the hashtag #LiveLikeShelby.
