10th grader got along with everyone
The football player was known for being “loving, generous, and goofy.” He was a loyal friend who always cheered others up.
“He was real. He was 100 percent. He was a real likeable person,” his dad said. “He loved to have fun and joke around. He got along with everybody that I know of.”
Robert Tyler Butler, 16, of Easley, South Carolina, attended an online school as a 10th grade student. He was found on the side of the road with a gunshot wound from a small-caliber weapon on Jan. 19, 2019.
