Rex Honors IV

Age 14

Lakeland, Florida

He wasn’t supposed to be there

When he was a baby, he would eat anything. As he grew, he came to love his grandma’s cooking. His reputation as a food lover followed him into his teenage years, earning him the nickname “Stuffy.” He also had a natural talent for football and for math.

He wasn’t supposed to be at his father’s house, but his out-of-town family was there so he stopped over for the night to visit.

On July 3, 2018, Rex Honors IV, 14, was found shot to death in the yard behind the house where the rest of his family slept in Lakeland, Florida.
