His voice was loud, but his personality louder; he was the boy who drove his friends 120 mph down the California freeway just for the thrill of it.

Jamps” grew up playing baseball. His fellow Titan teammates were like his second family, on and off the field.

On Nov. 10, 2018, Rene Emilio Gonzalez, 17, died of multiple gunshot wounds in Shadow Oak Park in West Covina, California. After the tragedy, Rene’s family created a GoFundme to donate all proceeds to a local charity. “It is important that something positive and lasting emerges from our tragic loss,” the page reads.
