He was a ladies’ man and a gentleman. He was 18, the time many young adults go off to college.
Known as “Nugi,” he lived in West Palm Beach, Florida. He had always been a good son, helping carry bags home. When he was young, he wanted to play football despite having hemophilia, a rare blood disease.
Raequan Nicholas Haywood, 18, was shot and killed on Sept. 2, 2018, in West Palm Beach, Florida. His childhood friend Davion Crometie planned to be a pallbearer at his funeral. But four days after Haywood died, Crometie was shot to death, too.
