Nasir Lemar Owens

Never left the elementary parking lot

He wore jersey number 50 on the varsity football team for Bridgeport High School in Michigan. The junior played defensive end, tackle and guard.

He was set to graduate in June of 2019, and had plans to enlist in the Army after high school. The school superintendent said he had a “million-dollar smile.”

Nasir Lemar  Owens, 18, died of gunshot wounds, in an old elementary school parking lot in Saginaw, Michigan, on Dec. 15, 2018. A makeshift memorial with blue and white balloons was set up in the parking lot.
