He didn’t know he touched the world

He was a volunteer who devoted his time to feeding the homeless with Convoy of Hope, a non-profit organization committed to helping those in need. His friend Christopher described him as a pretty good football player.

“He was a good kid and had a kind soul,” his mother told People. “He didn’t even know how much he touched the world.”

Matthew Minkler, 17, completed his junior year at Silverado High School in Las Vegas. He was found dead with a gunshot wound to the face in an abandoned home on Cool Lilac Avenue on June 8, 2018.
