Marcus T. Hall

Age 16

Stamford, Connecticut

Basketball player, passionate student, avid skateboarder

After it happened, his mother would have even more in common with his aunt, who’d also lost a child, her daughter, in the same way two years before.

He had recently become a passionate student at Westhill High School and loved to skateboard.

On Sept.19, 2018, Marcus T. Hall, 16, was on his way to play basketball at his community center in Stamford, Connecticut, when he was shot in the head. He was on life support for two days before he died. Community members marked the place where he was shot with candles and a mini-skateboard.
