Koby Lee Keever

Age 15

Ragley, Louisiana

Enjoyed sports, the outdoors, his friends

He was an outdoorsy kid, more comfortable in sporting gear than a suit. But that didn’t stop him from donning a bright pink bow tie and matching suspenders when the occasion was appropriate.

The Reeves High School student was an athlete, at one point playing basketball and baseball. He also ran track. He valued his friends and loved being around them. One friend described him as the light of the party.

Koby Lee Keever, 15, died on Nov. 2, 2018, after a gun fell from a rack and shot him in the stomach. He was with his friends at the time in Ragley, Louisiana.
