Keondurick Glasco Young

Age 16

Fort Worth, Texas

From singing by himself to Spotify

He went from singing in the bathroom mirror to mixing songs which would later be released on Spotify.

A self-taught rapper, he “pursued his passion” with “urgency and determination,” according to his high school music program. When he was only 15, his single “Why Should I Stop” went live on iTunes. But he was “humble,” too, friends remembered. He rapped not for fame but for “fun,” he sang in his biggest hit.

On February 5, 2019, Keondurick Glasco Young, 16, was shot outside an OK Food Mart in Fort Worth, Texas.
