Candles shaped like "D" on MLK

The candles were arranged in the shape of a “D,” for “Draco,” his nickname. His friends spent the Thursday afternoon doing this at the corner of Bidwell Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive.

He was a father to a 2-month-old son. He always put his family first and “ told his mother he loved her every day of his life.” He was a good student and loved playing basketball.

Judane Troy Holmes, 16, was shot at a fried chicken restaurant in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
