Unbuilt dreams of a future carpenter
He dreamed of one day becoming a carpenter. Building ran in the family. His mother had filled their home in Titusville, Florida, with her four kids and eight others she had taken in.
He was an athlete who would spend nights playing cards with his dad or watching his 8-year-old nephew. “[If he were here], he would do something to make sure we are laughing and not hurting,” his sister said.
Her 16-year-old brother, Johntreavean Lashawn Tilley, was shot and killed on Sunday, March 25, 2018, by a barefoot teenager with a handgun.
