Jamie Lee Dover

Age 17

Lebanon, Indiana

Tight-knit community will never forget him

He was like many teens in the small community of Lebanon, Indiana: he loved his friends, video games, basketball, and music.

His town is full of community pride — for their Fourth of July celebration, their local theatre productions, their schools and pride for residents like him who valued the community. “People here care about each other,” according to the town website.

At 1:19 p.m. on June 4, 2018, the Lebanon Police Department responded to a call reporting a shooting. Jamie Lee Dover, 17, died of a gunshot wound outside of J&J Muffler in his hometown.
