Made his name known through football
“Lil’ G” was a talented football player. Through the window of his home, you could see his gold trophies from Pop Warner. He played a big role in helping his team win recreation league championships.
The teen was also in a basketball league called “Shoot Hoops Not Bullets” and loved to flaunt on the court. Academics were one of his strengths, too, and he earned A’s and B’s to make his mother proud.
Gerald Watson, 15, of Southeast, District of Columbia, attended Anacostia High School. He was shot 17 times in the Langston Lane Apartments on Dec. 13, 2018.
