She had a beaming smile and soft chocolate eyes. With a sharp sense of style and an affinity for lip gloss, she even had a catch phrase: "My lip gloss is popping. How 'bout-cha?"
She was spending her summer with her family and planned on having a summer job. She loved music, a passion she shared with her father.
On June 17, 2018, Doris Ericka Dorsey, 15, was at a family gathering to celebrate her father’s birthday in Wilmington, Delaware. A stranger with a shotgun opened fire. She was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
