An exceptional swimmer, a natural leader
The best way to describe him was by all the records he broke: Three pool records as a member of the relay team. Section V Class B champion in the 50-yard freestyle. Two-time All-Greater Rochester selection. Monroe County Division 3 Swimmer of the Year. A 2018 graduate of Brockport High School, he was a standout athlete.
A deer hunter, he aimed his arrows with precision. He was known to be a natural leader.
Police found Bruce Zach Kane on Sept. 10, 2018, in a burning car in Hamlin, New York, along with a teammate. Both had been shot and killed.
