Brice Lewis

Age 18

Baton Rouge, Louisiana

He juggled work, school, and football

He was “smart and hard-working,” juggling being a student at McKinley Senior High School with playing football for his school’s team, as well as working for FedEx.

Nicknamed “Buck,” he enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend. He had a close relationship with his mother, who called herself his “#1 fan,” and would always be the “Cheerleader Mom” at all of his football games. The two of them looked so similar that he was often called her twin.

Brice Lewis, 18, was shot on Greenwell Springs Road on April 8, 2018, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Churchgoers found him lying on the ground the next morning.
