Austin J. McGuire

Age 18

Lisbon, Wisconsin

He loved cars, engineering and welding

He was on his way to becoming a well-rounded sportsman; he played soccer and lacrosse. He hunted and had been a Boy Scout.

However, his true interests were cars and engineering. He was following his passion — welding. He was “happy and loved everyone,” but was especially close to his girlfriend and late grandparents.

In his home in Lisbon, Wisconsin, on Oct. 17, 2018, Austin J. McGuire, 18, was shot in the chest by a 21-year-old man. He was pronounced dead at Community Memorial Hospital.
