Armond Latimore

Age 17

Saint Louis, Missouri

He was glad he made 17

It was his 17th birthday. He didn’t want anything elaborate, asking his mother only for cake and ice cream to celebrate. His mother left to pick some up.

In a Facebook post an hour before he headed out, he wrote “I'm just glad I can say I made it to see 17” and added two hashtags:  #MYDAY and #FREEGANG. He had dreams of becoming a rap artist.

He was standing outside of a restaurant approximately one-half mile from his house when it happened. Armond Latimore was shot in the head on Aug.18, 2018, in the 3100 block of North Grand Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri.
