Angelina Juliana Erives

Age 11

North Las Vegas, Nevada

In the kitchen, looking for discoveries

It was her first year as a middle schooler at Somerset Academy Losee, where she played volleyball. She would ask her teachers what she could do to help. She was a warm, forgiving friend.

She loved everything the world had to offer her — especially Hot Cheetos. “She didn’t know what hate was,” her mother said.

On Nov. 1, 2018, Angelina Juliana Erives, 11, was working on a science fair project with her mom and two sisters. She was killed as bullets ripped through her kitchen in a gang-related shooting targeting the wrong home in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
